Eric Semaan is a consulting Director with Unit 42 and has a comprehensive background in business leadership and development, strategic practice development, and expert witness testimony in the information security field, specializing in offensive security, threat intelligence, and incident response and digital forensic. Eric has over 12 years of experience working in the information security field, joining Unit 42 from a corporate investigations and consulting firm -Kroll- where he held a senior Vice President role and head of Cyber services in Emerging Markets. Eric managed international projects and developed a retained-service model. Based on a hybrid model, also design firm’s Forensic Labs, tools and compromise assessment methodology in frameworks. Earlier in his career, Eric worked as a manager at a Big-4 firm where he focused on industrial control systems (ICS) and was heavily involved in the review and assessment of manufacturing plants in more than 32 countries. He also developed the firms’ offensive security methodology.
