Ahmed leads Public Sector security and compliance for Middle East and Africa (MEA) in AWS. Based at AWS’s regional headquarters in Dubai. With 20+ years of Security and Compliance experience, Ahmed advises senior leaders across MEA government and key regulatory bodies around security strategy as well as implementation of robust and future-looking security and compliance postures in the cloud. Prior to joining AWS, Ahmed worked in senior security roles at Cisco and IBM. He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering and communications in addition to an MBA with specialization in operations management.
